#5 – Outdoor Education: Lessons within nature

Who is this course intended for?

This course targets a wide range of individuals, including teachers and school personnel from pre-school to primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs education and all those who want to improve their digital competences and to learn new ways to learn.

This outdoor education course for teachers offers comprehensive training on utilizing nature as a dynamic classroom. Participants will learn how to design engaging outdoor lessons that foster environmental awareness, teamwork, and critical thinking. Through experiential learning, educators will develop skills to create memorable outdoor experiences and inspire a deeper connection between students and the natural world.

Methodology

The methodology will involve a combination of theoretical classes, examples of best practices, content creation workshops, discussions, and experience sharing. Participants will have the opportunity to develop tangible final products and learn through their creation.

Outcomes

  1. Nature-Integrated Lesson Plans: Participants will gain expertise in designing innovative lesson plans that seamlessly integrate outdoor elements, providing students with enriching and hands-on learning experiences.

5 Days Programme (25 hours, course sessions from Monday to Friday)

  • Orienteering race design for students

Certificate

Each participant will get a course attendance certificate.

Course Fee

The course fee is 80€ per day, including tuition and materials, cultural programme, support in preparation and administrative work. We do not have hidden fees.

After registration, you will receive an invoice (pro-forma) which you will have to pay by bank transaction. After you attend the course, you will receive the invoice.
